Fingerprint Friday - Leaves Dancing in the Wind

We still have some beautiful colors here and there, like these trees at my workplace.

But we've had a lot of wind and two days of hard rain this week, so many of the leaves have danced off the trees to the ground.

Yesterday I took this photo of some trees at our mall where my husband and I go to walk every evening. I don't like winter much but there's one blessing of having the leaves gone ... as we're driving around, we can see beautiful mountain views that have been hidden all summer.

"Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights." - James 1:17

There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:
I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know it's true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of God

So look around you and see where YOU can see God's fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them? To find out how to join "Fingerprint Friday" and see links to other posts, visit Beki at The Rusted Chain.

The leaves have been beautiful here this year. And I love that verse from James.

Beautiful photos! Our drive home from Pittsburgh provided beautiful displays of color, especially as we got closer to the south. I will be sharing some of those photos tomorrow I hope. Much rain came this week and now we are left with mostly bare trees as well.

Oh how pretty! The leaves are still just barely changing here.
