Seamus (SHAY-MUHS)

This is my "Grandcat" Seamus - my son and daughter-in-law's cat. We spent the weekend at their house and I had fun taking pictures. Doesn't he have beautiful green eyes?

My son Kipp holding his furry child.

So sleepy.

He loves to sit at the windowsill, watching for birds, bunnies, chipmunks etc.

Hoping for a tummy rub.

Time for a nap.

And to all a good night.....

Traveling this weekend

We're off for Raleigh to visit my son Kipp, daughter-in-law Rebecca and the grandcat Seamus!

The high is almost 100 degrees right now. I won't be going for a mid-day walk, that's for sure. :)

Fingerprint Friday - Summer Flowers

Aren't they pretty? These flowers are on the front porch of the Administration Building at my workplace.

I think flowers are just a taste of the beauty of heaven that we will enjoy one day.

Click here to listen to one of my favorite songs --> Better Is One Day
How lovely is
Your dwelling place
Oh Lord Almighty,
For my soul longs
And even faints
For You
Oh, here my heart
Is satisfied (is satisfied)
Within Your presence
I sing beneath
The shadow of
Your wings

Better is one day in Your courts
Better is one day in Your house
Better is one day in Your courts
Than thousands elsewhere
Better is one day in Your courts
Better is one day in Your house
Better is one day in Your courts
Than thousands elsewhere

There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:
I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know it's true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of God

So look around you and see where YOU can see God's fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them? To find out how to join "Fingerprint Friday" and see links to other posts, visit Beki at The Rusted Chain.

Fingerprint Friday - Breathtaking Blossom

I spotted this beauty in the garden at my church last Sunday. Such a beautiful fingerprint! God must love us so very much to create so many different kinds of flowers for our enjoyment. What a glorious God we have!

...which reminds me of a song we sing at my church.

My Glorious

The world's shaking with the love of God
Great and glorious, let the whole earth sing
And all you ever do is change the old for new
People we believe that

God is bigger than the air I breathe
The world we'll leave
God will save the day and all will say
My glorious!

Clouds are breaking, heaven's come to earth
Hearts awakening let the church bells ring
And all you ever do is change the old for new
People we believe that

Fingerprint Friday - Sweet Blessings

Even though I already posted about them, my Fingerprints this week have to be my precious granddaughters - Meg, 8 and Paige, 5 - such blessings! My oldest son's family came from out of town on Monday for lunch and we had a wonderful time.

"Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward." - Psalm 127:3

My sweeties

We got to have lunch with my oldest son, daughter-in-law and two of my grandkids today. Can you ask for happier little faces?
