My Fingerprint today is my granddaughter, Jocie, who is 7. She is always holding some kind of tiny critter or allowing one to crawl up her arm. No way did she get this from my genes. Shudder :) Her mom (my daughter-in-law) has taught her all the proper scientific names for every type of bug and critter that comes along. A moth will pause at the window and she will tell me that's a Luna Moth, or some complicated name I could never remember. Just amazing.

There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:
I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know it's true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of God
Where do you see God's fingerprints? In nature? kids? animals? They are all around us!

How neat..You see, we all have a special path in life. Just beautiful pictures and a wonderful picture of your son..Great Fingerprints..
That is so great - you'd never catch my girls wanting to hold all those critters!
oh wow
is that a tiny wee frog in the first picture?!
Yes, it's a tiny frog. =) Ha ha reminds of when her dad was a little boy and came to show me an elaborate Lego house with little plastic Lego windows that he'd built.
"Look in the window, Mom," said Jeff. I looked in ... and to my surprise there was a very live frog encased in his own Lego house.
I think I wanted to scream but instead very calmly said, "That's nice, sweetheart. Now, go outside and let him go."
What a cutie!
That praying mantis, though. EEk! Those things freak me out.
She's just precious!!
She's so sweet. I'm with you though, I can't handle anything creepy crawly...yikes!
