Fingerprint Friday - A taste of spring

A friend gave me a "paperwhites" bulb for Christmas. I, who have a black thumb, was amazed that they actually bloomed! Thanks to my husband for keeping the right amount of water in the vase. What a beautiful taste of springtime to have in the middle of winter! Here they are on our kitchen counter.

Isaiah 35:1 The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.

There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:
I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know it's true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of God

So look around you and see where YOU can see God's fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them? To find out how to join "Fingerprint Friday" and see links to other posts, visit Beki at The Rusted Chain.

Spring Fever

We've had some beautiful warm, sunny days. Makes everyone have spring fever. We KNOW it could snow again but most of my friends say they hope not. I've been inspired to make some Spring ornaments. These would be so beautiful hanging in your kitchen...or bedroom...at work on your cubicle wall or bulletin board...or in your art or music studio...anywhere you need a smile and a moment of inspiration.

Here's a sampling of handmade clay creations available in my etsy shop. Come shop for unique gifts for Easter... Mother's Day... graduations... spring and summer birthdays... and don't forget to treat yourself!

Fingerprint Friday - Special Celebration!

We went to our grandbaby Everett's baptism last weekend and enjoyed seeing extended family...grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins...and we all gathered for a delicious lunch at Kipp and Rebecca's after church.

He was such a good boy and didn't cry a bit. He wore a beautiful new outfit and wonderful vintage booties handmade by Rebecca's grandma with ball tassels.

Checking everything out...

With the Godparents: Rebecca's brother Clay and Kipp's sister-in-law Karen

This is the day that the Lord has made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Fingerprint Friday - Sweet Cousins

My son Kipp and family visited my son Jeff and family a couple of weeks ago. The three older grandchildren got to meet the baby for the first time, and Jocelyn got to be a "big sister." Aren't they sweet together?

We are excited to be going to Everett's baptism this weekend!

Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.
(Psalms 127:3-5 ESV)
