Fingerprint Friday - Stormy Sky

God's Fingerprints in the sky are just amazing. Last Friday afternoon, when I went to the post office (about a mile down the road), this is what I saw. Some of the sky was blue with white clouds (visible at far right), with this storm moving in and the sun shining through the clouds.

This makes me think of one of the songs we sing at church - "You Never Let Go" by Matt Redman and Beth Redman. Here are some of the words...

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
Your perfect love is casting out fear
And even when I'm caught in the middle of the storms of this life
I won't turn back, I know You are near

And I will fear no evil, for my God is with me
And if my God is with me, whom then shall I fear?
Whom then shall I fear?

Oh no, You never let go through the calm and through the storm
Oh no, You never let go in ev'ry high and ev'ry low
Oh no, You never let go Lord, You never let go of me.

Listen to it here

There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:
I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know it's true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of God

So look around you and see where YOU can see God's fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them? To find out how to join "Fingerprint Friday" and see links to other posts, visit Beki at The Rusted Chain.

That is so true, he is everywhere, you can't miss him. Even when things are at their darkest, he is there. We walk in faith and that keeps us strong.

I adore your human calendar. Thanks so much for the laugh! Ha Ha Ha!

Really nice storm clouds...I was noticing those quite a bit here last weekend too, (we are in for another round of storms this weekend here)so always know God is the light between those clouds. I always thought of him smiling at us when the light catches the earth, lovely to view anytime of the day. Smile today. :)
