Fingerprint Friday - Baby, it's cold outside

We've had more snow this week and so far today we've had ice, sleet and rain. I have a hard time being thankful for weather like this but I can think of some good things! I'm very thankful that it's my day off from work and I don't have to drive in this, and I am thankful for our nice, warm house. Time to go make a big pot of soup. :)

I Thessalonians 5:18 – In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:
I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know it's true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of God

So look around you and see where YOU can see God's fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them? To find out how to join "Fingerprint Friday" and see links to other posts, visit Beki at The Rusted Chain.

We all have so much to be thankful for even when we are not thankful for the weather. We had freezing drizzle last night and then it has been snowing ever since. No fun to drive in but must go get groceries so I can also make some yummy soup.

Have a fun and cozy day off!

Beautiful pictures - absolutely beautiful! But I know what you mean about being tired of the snow and ice! =)

What kind of soup are you making?

Winter does tend to drag on a bit sometimes. Here in Colorado, I have to be thankful for the snow that becomes water in the spring and sets the stage for wildflowers. That makes it a little easier to tolerate!

I love that first shot!

That's the kind of weather we had last week. Today it's just rain, rain, rain! I know what you mean about it being hard to feel grateful, but I remember just a few years ago when we had drought conditions; now the ground won't hold any more. Always good to look for the blessings.
And I'm thankful you didn't have to drive in the iciness, too!
Sorry so slow getting back here. I loved your snow pics and these really are beautiful, too!
Be careful out there!
