Fingerprint Friday - All together!

My BIG Fingerprint today that I am so thankful for is my wonderful family! Since my three sons live in different cities and states, it's not often that we are together in one place. The last time was two years ago for my son Kipp's wedding.

Last weekend my son Jeff had his 20 year high school class reunion here, so everyone came for the weekend, to my delight! We had a great time. Here are my three sons, with their wives, and my six grandkids who range in age from 12 to 5.

There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:

I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know it's true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of God

Where do you see God's fingerprints? In nature? kids? animals? They are all around us!

A Peek in the Garden

Here are some eggplant and tomatoes growing in the garden at work outside the cafeteria. I greatly admire our food services director who has a green thumb. :)

Fingerprint Friday - God's beauty in the woods

We live on 13 acres of beautiful land in the mountains of Western North Carolina ... bought by my husband's parents about 30 years ago. I have the joy and privilege of being able to go for walks in the woods often, and I love everything in bloom this time of year. Here's a sampling of God's beauty we get to see this time of year.

Little critters are also a lot of fun to watch. Here is Liz the Lizard who hangs out on the wall of our house sometimes. My son got this great shot of her the other day.

Happy Fingerprint Friday!

I've been having fun with beads lately and have some new bracelets available in my etsy shop.

Here's one that looks like colors of the beach and ocean...

Such beautiful flowers

Our neighbors down the road have these gorgeous flowers, along both sides of their driveway. I wish I could get a "bird's eye view" photo that would do them justice, but here's an idea of what they look like.

I sure do love this time of year!

Fingerprint Friday - Magnificent Clouds

Photobucket

We've been having some magnificent clouds lately. Part of the days are sunny, with intermittent showers so we get skies full of blue, sun, white clouds and dark clouds all mixed together. Quite awesome!

Fingerprint Friday - Beautiful Blossoms

Isn't it amazing that God created so many different types of trees, plants, bushes and flowers? These gorgeous trees are called Crepe Myrtle and are in full bloom right now in our area. These beauties are growing by the side of the road near where I live. I am having fun this year learning names of trees and plants that I never knew before! The lady I carpool with knows them all. :)
