Fingerprint Friday - Believing even when it's tough

Sometimes it's hard to see God's Fingerprints, and you just have to believe that they are there.

I've had an exhausting week at work - busy with special events and monthly projects, all heaped up together and needing lots of juggling to get them all finished on time. Plus one of my favorite people left our company on Wednesday. He found another job (which will be a move up for him, so that's good), turned in a letter of resignation with the offer to work a 30 day notice, and was asked to leave immediately for reasons I am not privy to. I am extremely sad. So this is the time to trust God for what I cannot understand... give thanks even when I don't feel like it... and believe that all is ok in God's eyes.

Be joyful always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
I Thessalonians 5:16-18

Thank You, Lord, for holding all things in Your hands. I trust You with what I cannot understand and I believe that all is well in Your kingdom.

It always hurts when we see something like this happen..My feeling is, they were angry that he is leaving and that is the way they showed it..I have seen this happen before. Of course I don't know the story, just my take on it.
I do know this..It is hard to hang on when things get tough..but did you ever notice, that is when we seem to get tougher.

It is the times we don't "feel" God in our lives that looking back later on, we see it the most. Hard to swallow during the moment I know. But God is still there; keep believing!

Your post reminds of the the poem Footprints in the Sand. (when you see only one set of footprints that is when God carries us through).

I love the photo you've included today. I love the message and the pink for today because I have several co-workers who have gone through breast cancer. Your message reaches across many boundaries!

I sooo understand when it's hard to see Him but you're right you just have to believe that he's there.

I have BAD road rage and when I feel myself getting that way, I tell my self to stop, relax and that it's in HIS hands. After that, things almost always go how they should - traffic opens up, people stop driving crazy (kind of - they stop around me), and I get to the place I need to be on time - where before I let it go to Him I was running late!

Just remember it's in HIS hands! :)

Happy Friday!

So true. It is hard to see what He has planned in the midst of things. I know everything will work out for the best as God is in control. I know its tough to loose a close workmate. It's a blessing that he is moving on to bigger better things though. Giving thanks even in the rough times is hard but it will all work out.

It is so true that the Lord is always working in our lives, even if we feel like we don't see it! Keep the faith girl!
