Fingerprint Friday - Elusive Lizards

For God's Fingerprints this week, I was finally able to get some photos of the little lizards that zip around our sidewalk and front porch, and sometimes hang on the side of the house like the one above. I've tried many times to capture them with my camera, but they always dive for the bushes when they hear me coming. This past week, they held still long enough for me to get some photos of them. I guess they wanted to be celebrities here on my blog. :)

There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:

I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know it's true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of God

Where do you see God's fingerprints? In nature? kids? animals? They are all around us!

Thank you to Pampering Beki for hosting this each week! Everyone is welcome to join. To see how to join, as well as find links to other Fingerprint Friday posts, visit Pampering Beki's blog.

How cute and a great fingerprint..
It is funny how none of us, take a little visit from anything for granted. When I see a grasshopper, I get excited. The little lizard would have thrilled me and to think you got the picture..Just so beautiful..
Happy Fingerprint Friday.

Hello - popped in to take a peak! From a fellow christian I love the fingerprint Friday segment. It is so wonderful to find ways to see God in even the little things in life.

I'm glad they paused long enough for you to take some great photos! We don't see many of those here in the Pacific Northwest but they remind me of the cute little geckos we see in Hawaii (although I only think they are cute if they stay OUTdoors.)

How very fun! I saw a lizard on my house this week as well, but wasn't quick enough to grab the camera. Thanks for sharing!

They are so much fun to watch but pretty camera shy. Nice shots.

Well done on capturing the lizards. I'm a reptile keeper myself so it's always nice to see some cute little wild lizards. I remember when I was little, we went on holiday to Greece every year and I would spend hours looking for lizards and trying to photograph them.

I am fascinated by lizards and geckos (are you shocked? lol) My sister-in-law has them hanging on her walls at her house - (same city as me) but I've never had one here. I tried to import them but they ran away. Thanks for sharing your fun!

EEEEEK!

I would've screamed like a little girl and ran the other direction.

I think I'm with Beki! I think I would have screamed but my niece(she is almost 4 years old) on the other hand would have got right down and examined him and would have probably wanted to hold him.
