And Jesus's gift to us goes on forever, not just for one day...
I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies.
Our church always has the most beautiful flowers on the altar for Easter and several weeks afterwards. The beauty of the flowers warms my heart....because of Easter AND because my husband and I got married in this church with similar beautiful flowers on April 28, 2001.
I especially love this beautiful angel fountain.
God is good, all the time!

There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:
I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know it's true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of God
Where do you see God's fingerprints? In nature? kids? animals? They are all around us!

I always look for your comment, knowing I can count on you..Love your fingerprint. To me, you can see why Easter is celebrated in the spring..all the beautiful things come to life again..
Happy Anniversary, even if I am late..Have a great weekend.
such beautiful flowers and so many of them!
Beautiful! The statue of Jesus is so great, with His hand raised, not like most usual statues of Him you see.
The alter is beautiful with all the wonderful flowers. The statue of Jesus is almost like the one at the front of our church. The only difference is that our statue's hands are off to the sides with palms faced out so that you can see the place where the nails were. Easter is a wonderful church season and my favorite.
Those flowers and alter are beautiful! What a great rememberance and celebration of Easter! I wish I could smell them through the computer :)
What a great post! Its always heartwarming to see someone talking about our Savior :)
I love that Easter is not just for one day!
I always tell the hubs (when he complains that I start listening to Christmas music in September) that we spend the whole rest of the year singing and praising Him for dying on the cross and being resurrected. I like to take some extra time for leaving heaven in the first place!
Beautiful fountains and gorgeous flowers. Thanks for sharing this.
What beautiful flowers for the altar. We are studying Acts in our small group (the start of the church) and it all began because of Easter. I agree, it's very appropriate that we celebrate Easter in the Spring.
So lovely! I love the Easter season and all of the pretty extras that come with it.
BTW...I just read your post on another blog about your flying snake!!! Can I just say that I will never walk by our bushes again without thinking of your story...LOL!
That's so pretty!!
You're right God is good, all the time.
Very beautiful and Easter is what our faith is all about, isn't it? It's the point of victory. Enjoyed this. :)
